Default Tire coming off of Walker Evans 2.2

Hey all,

I did a search and was unable to find anything to help me with this. I'm new to RC as a hobby so to be honest I am a bit overwhelmed with all of the parts and tech that is involved but I also appreciate the amount of work that is involved. I'm happy - I just need a little help.

I recently got a Yeti for xmas and I love it. I've been running it a little bit each week and I will admit, I am hard on it. All is fine with everything, except my one Walker Evans wheel. I've had to re-install the tire probably about three times now because it keeps coming off. Not sure if the wheel is spent or if I reinstalled it improperly? I used my head the first, time, and then watched a couple of videos to make sure I was doing it right, so I think I am okay there. I'm using the BFGoodrich Krawler T/A KX tires that it came with.

I honestly want to get a new set of wheels one of these days but if there is a way to make these last, then I would prefer that before spending extra cash. Should I maybe just replace the one wheel? Or is there something else that I'm missing?

Any help is appreciated!
thanks!

It should help to clean up the tire and rim before mounting. But with the stock foams the tire could fold on cornering which than can cause your issue. So changing to better foams like the crawler innovation duece wild standard 2.2 Deuce's Wild Single Stage 2.2 Standard Foam Pair (2) - Crawler Innovations will help. also it's day and night in handling. Less yeti rolls

Sometimes beadlocks are just difficult, though you should be able to get the stock tires and wheels to work together. Try again and as Magic Yeti suggested clean them first, you dont want any dirt or grease in between the tire and beadlock that may lead to it popping loose later.
