Default Does anyone have any info or experience with these parts?

I'm kind of skeptical about these but they reviews say they aren't bad. I got a yeti out of a trade that needs a bunch of the parts in the set so I figured it would be a good deal. Has anyone on here used them? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

23 pieces for $89.... I was skeptical also, chose not to go that route. That’s less than $4 per piece, I’m thinking that you get what you pay for.

I haven't been breaking this stuff on my yeti, but I'll throw my 2 cents in anyway:

1. Steering Hub Carrier, Model: AX31001, qty:2pcs
2. Front C-Hub Steering Knuckle Carrier, Model: AX31002, qty:2pcs

These are the only bits that might be of value in the package, if they don't immediately break and the fit and finish does not make them more trouble than they are worth. You can find these offered separately.

3. Front Shock Tower, Model: AX31003, qty:1pcs

Just adds weight to the nose of a nose-heavy truck.

4. Front Lower Suspension Arm, Model: AX31004, qty:2pcs

More weight, and they don't fix the problem of the weak pins, and they don't slide over stuff like the factory arms, which can be sleeved for $2 (resolving the weak pins issue). The flexing of the factory arms can also absorb some of the impact that would otherwise have to be taken by the chassis and/or other suspension parts.

5. Body Mount, Model: AX31005, qty:1pcs

More weight to the nose of a nose-heavy truck.

6. Front Arm Bulk[head], Model: AX31006, qty:1pcs

Looks nice. Assuming it fits, you still need to sleeve the front arms. And it doesn't slide over stuff like the factory part.

7. Rear Upper Chassis Linkage Link, Model: AX31007, qty:2pcs

I have seen many posts about these on facebook. Very bendy.

8. Rear Lower Chassis Linkage Link, Model: AX31008, qty:2pcs

These ones get complaints about the crappy ball joints.

9. Front Wheel Hex Mount, Model: AX31010, qty:2pcs
10.Rear Wheel Hex Mount, Model: AX31011, qty:2pcs

Not needed anymore with the change in hub design.

11.Rear Knuckle, Model: AX31012, qty:2pcs

I think they mean rear lockout; doesn't add strength where the AR60 needs it.

12.Rear Shock Absorber, Model: AX31013, qty:2pcs
13.Front Shock Absorber, Model: AX31014, qty:2pcs

I don't know if they will hold oil, or if they are rebuildable like the factory shocks, but I'm guessing that those 'progressive' springs will be sagging under the weight of the yeti.

If you do go through with this, be sure to post your findings here. I find the direct-from-china stuff to be hit-and-miss, but occasionally you do get a hit.

I'd look to see if you can find the front c-hubs and knuckles separately and not bother with the rest.

yeah he pretty much nailed it.

what parts does this yeti actually NEED?
i bought a used RTR that had a bunch of high quality upgrades, lucky for me it was still less than a new kit and included everything but a 3s battery.
that said, i snapped about 3 knuckles within the first 5 runs. now i have SSD Knuckles, and a better awareness this thing will destroy itself if you drive like a maniac.

and just a sidenote, with a name like rcdriftmasterj, you should check out some threads in the non-crawler section here ;)
