Default 1" or 1.5" wheels?

What width wheels are people running? I'm using the CI 6-shooter wheels, but debating on what width to run. I like the idea of a smaller hub, I can fit a 225 in the 1" wheel, not sure how much larger I'd need to go to fit the 1.5". Is there any rationale for running a 1" in the front and a 1.5" in the rear? I'd think not, but who knows. I'll have one running Voodoos and the other two Yetis running the stock Wildpeaks, all with CI single stage foams. Not necessarily crawling with them, just all purpose goofing around and running through the woods in the backyard. Probably be a 3500kV motor on 3S, with stock gearing. Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. I have a set of Voodoo U4 tires and CI deuces wild foams.

I had some chinesium 1" wheels once and I remember it being an absolute nightmare to mount CI foams onto them. Tires came out of bead all the time, too. Also tended to bow out the tread of the tire because the bead was pulled in.

So what sized SLW hub will clear a VP knuckle with a 1.5" CI wheel?

With all that HP, I'd think a 1.5" wheel would offer more cornering stability.

I was thinking the same thing, I just don't want to have to buy more hubs!

But I'm thinking the 1.5 is the way to go.
