| Size of motor shaft?
I’m in my final buying process for my yeti to get the motor. Why size motor shaft does every one use? I’m going to buy the 3800kv castle creations motor.

The yeti comes with a 5mm Pinion. You can use either a 3.17mm or 5mm. Just make sure you have a suitable Pinion. Personally I'd stock with a 5mm shaft if you can. Sent from my LG-H870DS using Tapatalk |

At least my yeti kit came with a 5mm Pinion. I assume the rtr does too. Best advice, get a motor, and a 32p Pinion to suit the motor you buy Sent from my LG-H870DS using Tapatalk |

I would go with the 5mm shaft, that's what i did. I had the unsensored 1410 3800kv 5mm, great motor. But it was unsensored, so i changed to a HH 540R also using a 5mm shaft. Both great motors for the yeti. I power them with 3S lipos.
