| Integy rear aluminum shock tower?
Any one running the Integy billet rear shock tower/stabilizer on their Yeti? Now I have the Exotec Xhassis I kinda like the idea of going full aluminum to eliminate the rest of the factory flex.

I've got that Integy piece on mine, and using the Exotek chassis, as well. It seems to provide a little rigidity to that top cage, and I haven't had any issues with it stripping out or whatever. I have some suspension travel limit straps on the rear, and they're attached out at the ends of that piece. Having the screws that retain those straps being screwed into metal versus plastic feels a bit more secure. |

I've been looking at this too. I'm more than a little hesitant to spend my hard earned money on Integy parts though. Glad to read from someone who has actually used one. Maybe I'll finally give it a try.

I have no idea how much stress that part of the chassis actually takes, but it seems the quality of their metal is sufficient for that particular job. | |
