Vanquish Yeti Bulkhead

The much requested Yeti front bulkhead is appearing out in the wild. I got these pics from UC Fab on FB.




Big pinion bearings, built-in hinge pin braces, and the same bearing holders from most of the Vanquish axle housings.

Allegedly available soon, no price info so far.

Hoping they are working on the hinge pins, tighter hole for less play and why not a specific hinge, I've bent all my screws
Not problems since I changed for straight rod calibrated and hardened with collars !

Why would you want this? Is anyone having problems with the front bulkhead? Another 50$ and one could get an Exotek aluminium chassis, which would make more sense to me. A Yeti certainly does not need even more weight to the front.

A Lil to expensive for my taste. Hell if anything. Id rather have a carbon fiber unit.

Ive enlarged pinion bearing walls causing me to wipe out ring and pinions. This will eliminate that, as well as adding a ton of strength to the hinge pins. I for one have been waiting on one for a while. if you want it cheap, wait for the cheap china repro's.

mine got sloppy so i had to change it , i have waited for a option like this. now i have to wait till it's available at a source with apropriate shipping costs 45$ is way to much.....

Look what showed up today.




One item of note: the lower holes meant for the rear toe block of the Exo are open to the inside of the diff case. You will want to plug these with some setscrews when installing on the Yeti to keep dirt out.



This will be going on my IFS Bomber in the near future.

I got this one from Liquid RC on ebay (after ebay sent out a 20% off everything coupon ), kinda surprising they had the bulkheads so quickly. Shipping to Germany from that seller costs $15, not cheap but way better than $45. Unfortunately they are sold out of the bulkheads now (not surprising because they only had 2 to start with).
