Default Servo Replacement Options

I had a Hitec 7955TG that broke. Sent it in to Hitec and it isn't fixable. The offered a DS955 at a discount ($80).

Are there better options? I wouldn't mind something waterproof, but Hitec doesn't have one avalible yet.

Kit Yeti. Running 3s.

I'm running a Savox 1210sg, in mine, no issues. But now i would go with a HH shv500.

I have an Xpert 7701 in mine, waterproof (IP67 - certified for being submerged 1 meter for 30 minutes, if I remember correctly). Plenty of torque, never had an issue. Check it out at amain here.

"Aminos" - Read generic Amazon, 35kg. Came with an aluminum clamp on horn for $37... likely not the best thing ever. But decent specs, hasn't blown up yet. But I also don't run super hard either.

Electrical Specification:
Operating voltage range: 5-7.4V
Operating speed ( 5.0V ): 0.1 3sec/60 degree
Operating speed ( 6.0V ): 0.12 sec/60 degree
Operating speed ( 7.4V ): 0.11 sec/60 degree
Stall torque ( 5.0V ): 29kg/cm
Stall torque ( 6.0V ): 32kg/cm
Stall torque ( 7.4V ): 35kg/cm

Did they explain why it is not fixable? I know they discontinued the 7950th and now I’m not sure what my next best hitec option is.

I put a Pro Modeler 470 in mine. Overkill in every sense, just how I like it.

Another vote for the Pro Modeler 470. It's been great so far.
