Default Should i upgrade rear diff?

New to the hobby and only had a couple of Tamiya cars up till now.
I got the Yeti because I like the style and the size,it will onlt be used for mild bashing ,no rock or rough stuff.
Now I am into the build I was surprised to see the rear diff is locked,my Tamiya cars although cheaper had "proper" diffs.
I presume I can get extra gears for the rear diff to match the front, should I go that route for mainly flat running?

ya they make diff gears and aluminum diff case and gaskets for gear oil you can fine tune the diff to your liking with differant thicknesses of oil
