| Yeti Kit NIB sealed.. How much?
Hi Friends, just looking for some feedback- I need to sell off a few of my collector items to pay for things like food and mortgage right now, I was going to list my Yeti Kit NIB sealed on ebay (or even here) but not sure what they're worth... I saw a score kit just sold on ebay for $1000 Canadian, which I know is rare. It must put a sealed yeti kit around $500-$600 US? or am I way off??

It can't hurt to give $600 a try, you never really how much people might pay. Sometimes logic doesn't apply on sites like eBay. It also depends on how much research the buyers have done and how bad they want it. That being said, I bought a new sealed kit from my LHS in Jan 2020 for $199. It had been on the shelf since 2016, so he was really happy to sell it. |

i payed $130 for a lightly used roller a few months ago but some one did some horable painting on it so im guessing thats why it was so cheap but the rig itself looked brand new not 1 scratch in any of the plastic

When things get discontinued, they seldom go up in price. At least not in the first 10 years. Things like these will get Market value. and we all know MV in RC is about 60%. I've been thinking of buying one. Not because of value, but because they look like a pretty nice sized rig, 1/8th scale or maybe a bit bigger when compared to other 1/10ths. And seemed to be a decent platform, which makes me wonder why they disco'd them. I see on Ebay new kits for 300ish or less. Not many, but there are a few out there. ARTRs with nearly no use for 225-250. As already said, it comes down to money burning a hole in someones pocket for going above market value. Theres one on eBay that has nearly every Vanquish part on it, a bunch of other upgrades, including esc and motor for 520. I'm not sure a Yeti is the direction I want to go. I do want a racer, and was looking at the Rock Rey (1/6th) but seen the Yeti is damn near the same size so started looking as an option. But their being disco'd is something I'm not sure I want to go with as it will be used. Just some FYI |
