what spur/pinion will go good with 35T brushless motor-35a quickrun esc? looking to make a rock racer from my older AX-10 Scorpion which is a great crawler- but I think I'd like to make it a rock racer-

Hard to say, cause the transmissions and ratios from Ax10 and Yeti are not the same.
I'm running a Mamba Monster X and Holmes Puller Pro-L 4100kv on 3S with a gearing of 64/16 and 2-Speed.
