So two per truck would make it $42 for a complete setup?

Well fourth of July I put in my spools.

I wish I could just end there and say it went smooth.

I realize these are designed for madforce and twinforce axles.
I was told the SuperMaxx is the same setup.
(not by Yotachump)
That was incorrect.

I had to modify these to make them fit in a supermaxx case.

First problem was the surface that mates with the ring gear.
The ring gear had a ridge inside the radius that would not allow the gear to seat properly on the spool. I chucked up the spool in my 1/2" drill and put a 45 degree radius around the outer edge. Gear fit well after that.

Then, the entire assembly was too long to fit inside the supermaxx case!
By at least a 1/8th".

I had to chuck it up again in the drill and this time knock down the surface the outer bearing rides on to allow the case to close.

After all of that, I went out and broke every single MIP in my tool box!

Here is a shot of a couple of the MIP's and my new 1/4" temp axles that seem to be holding up well!
