CKRC High Steer Knuckles, Ax10, Berg or HR axles $27.99 to $36.99 These knuckles can be used for a custom front or behind the axle high steer set up. Our new aluminum knuckles are guaranteed to be the strongest knuckles on the market with the most steering angle possible. The steering arm has been moved away from the tire to allow for the highest backspacing rims possible. Includes: (2) high steer knuckles http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&keyword=hi+steer Last edited by KING BLING; 04-23-2009 at 11:23 AM.

Next week we should have full bta kits for the axial including knuckles and steering kits for the berg which will include a new tierod and set of knuckles.

In pic 2 it looks like the screw for the OTA is hitting the tire right where it meets the rim. Is this correct? If so, do you know what backspacing the rims are that you are using?

I am running stock slash wheels on that berg. There is about 1mm clearance between the rod end and wheel. Is that what you were asking?

I see, yes the prototype set of knuckles did that wear to the tire. These are spaced out diffently.

Is the axial tierod going to have ballends on it or is the tierod going to set on top of the knuckle "metal to metal" Last edited by hardhead; 11-21-2008 at 05:58 PM. | |

Kinda surprised it took this long for a vendor to make these available.

I am with you, I feel like I am a day late, (but not a dollar short) I thought I saw these in stock last night, and went down to work on the crawler tonight and decided to come up and order some, and they were gone. Hope they get them in this next week. Jeff

When are they going to get any of the BTA kits, or just the High knuckles in for for the CVDs. They came fast and were gone.

I'm not trying to bash on these but I got a set and just so people know, they don't work with Mayhem Berg offset wheels on Berg axles. The bolts on the inner ring of the wheel hit the knuckles. I'm running Axial Aluminum Hexes, I'm sure with wider hexes you can make them work but I am not willing to increase my track width. I only have Mayhem wheels so I don't know what other wheels work or not. What wheels have you guys tested these with?

| Same here. I was looking forward to getting these to get my Berg finished up. They look great and I'm sure if you don't have a clearance issue you will be happy, just not with Mayhem Berg offset wheels. :-( Quote:

I got mine installed only to find out they don't work with DNA Berg Offsets even with the much thicker hexes. The are machined nice and work well, but just not my application. Last edited by binaryterror; 12-02-2008 at 07:44 AM.
