I would not suggest this with the X-Trail. Since the X-trail is a full length chassis and this kit offsets the servo you will likely run into clearance issues between the frame and servo. The only way to solve this would be to run a very high ride height which is not very scale.

Ive ran it on scale chassis' myself and have had mixed results. As Harley said, with allot of scale chassis' you end up with the chassis hitting the servo.

Default a123 cells

was thinking about using this kit and mounting the a123 cells up front this would probly take out the need to add some weight to the front tires and wheels.. just a thought i would like to know what you think

What are the dimensions (length x width x height) of your a123 battery pack?

I just installed the BTA kit. Works great. Made a little vid so you can see it in action. Hopefully heading to the rocks in the morning to test it out. Using VP high clearance knuckles.

The older version that I have works very well with the VP high steer knuckle, so i am sure it will work just as well with the redesigned version and there is no need for the spacers when you use the HS knuckles and it also clears all of the shock/lower link screws.

Unfortunately, it does not. Here is an up-to-date compatibility list:

Recommended:
Vanquish Products (VP) High Steer Knuckles
ST Racing Concepts Aluminum Knuckles
Hot Racing Aluminum Knuckles
Axial Aluminum Knuckles

Works, but not recommended:
Stock plastic Axial knuckles

Does not work with:
ST Racing Concepts High Clearance Knuckles
Vanquish Products (VP) High Steering Zero Ackermann Knuckles

Why are the stockers not recommended? Is it because they are plastic or is it a geometry issue?

Most probably because they will flex way to much with the increased leverage from the spacer.
BTW where can I get this kit apart from RPP?
Corey doesn't ship to Greece.
Thanks!

Because they are plastic. The geometry is fine.
