not sure if you covered this. Whats your electronics setup and gearing in your video?

I am going to be running a HH 14T on 6S with a 68/9 spur pinion setup and i was curious how it compared.

i'm running the vxl3 10t 3500 kv on 3cell 11.1 30c in parallel.gearing is 9/68 it crawls great but a little slow on wheel speed in first if you need to bump over something and second is awesome for mud and sand hill drags i'm running the 2.2 mud slingers. what i have noticed is the over all weight of trk has increased and the extra speed and weight i'v been snapping link ends othr then that it's a fun way to go

Dang I got mine for $65 if people are spending that much might as well get a e-revo tranny for $25 and buy the parts needed to make it.

Thats what I did.. Got the tranny for $22 + $38 for 2 speed conversion, so bout $60 is what I got in mine? I do think its a LIL cheaper that way but not by a whole lot?!

i was told by the hobby shop that the wide ratio conversion for the revo doesn't have as low of a ratio in first as the summit. Transmitter-operated High-Low transmission switches from a 70:1 first gear ratio for climbing torque to a 25:1 second gear ratio for trail applications and performance preferences. this is the conversion add --------The close ratio first gear set is ideal for running through grass, mud bogging, and hill climbing; while the wide ratio first gear set delivers an amazing 50:1 final drive ratio for climbing serious terrain.

Is it acceptable to shift this transmission when the vehicle is moving? I was thinking it would be cool if you could wind out first and then shift to second and let the front end come up. lol
