I understood what you were saying just that the weak link in the tube is going to be at the flange and your not going to get much deflection thru the tube. I don't think I have seen an aluminum tube bend yet on anyones axle. I do like the design of using delrin.

I can be a bit hard on equipment. So I'd be good with the change.

and my thoughts are the weak point will be at the lower link mount on top of the axle,,especially on the long tube.

well we have only had one tube fail so far and it was in a nasty fall...the new V2 tubes that all these guys have pre-ordered will have two upgraded sections..

1~beefed up link mount section to handle those nasty in comp tumbles

2~will be a beefed up flange with countersunk mounting holes to handle those nasty shearing hits...

all the while you still get nice ground clearance and super skid slickness AND weight loss on the rear end
you cant beat that combo!!!

these tubes are super tough IMHO but lets not forget these are plastic...and plastic does break when hit just right.
these tubes are for the guys looking to get the very most out of their comp bully rig...

I'm meeting with the machine shop monday to go over the design changes!!
these next ones are gonna be even sicker then the last run!!
pre -order now to lock in your bully tubes...

I comp'd with mine yesterday. They held up well. I took some aggressive hits and a few good binds with twist, and they did not crack/break.

well it might take slightly longer then planned...we have decided to beef up the link section and beef up the area around the flange so I need to go over the design changes with the machine shop.
we are working to get these out ASAP!
thanks for the order

With a week since the last update, what's going on? I know I won't have them for next weekend considering I'm in canada but I would love to get them before our next comp if possible. I love the fact that you are going to beef them up for us though. That will make them even better.

3-4 weeks seems excessive to me. Wouldn't think it would take that long to write a program. Try to light a fire under someone.
