| Losi Night/Comp Crawler Knuckle weights EVERYTHING is in stock Brass knuckle weights for the Losi Comp Crawler or Night Crawler. The weights were designed around the stock plastic steering knuckle or the Losi aluminum knuckles. Proudly made in the U.S.A. Benefits of a knuckle weight system
Each knuckle weight is 2.3oz The weights have been tapped so extra rings can be bolted to them.

I wanted to say this in a fresh post so hopefully it is not missed. The knuckle weights were designed around a stock LCC. Any changes you may have made may make the weights un-usable or a need to modify the car to work with the weights. Your car MUST be in good condition. If your hexs are not in great shape you could have binding from the wheel rubbing on the weight. If your wheels are not in great shape you could also have the same issue. If your steering has too much toe in the weights could limit your steering. The weights were designed to contact the axle "C" just a touch before the steering knuckle contacts the "C". This make the weight as heavy as possible. If you do have problems with binding the wheels and weights you can fix the problem or you can run a small washer between the wheel and hex. When installing the wheels make sure they spin freely by hand and check for drag before you turn the car on. For the steering you can fix the alignment or you can clearance the "C" for more steering angle. The only two wheels known to work with these weights currently are the stock wheels and Vanquish wheels. Most should work but with all the different types of wheels its hard to know which ones will not work. |

Wow I bet with some SLW's you could fit a ton of rings. Nice work. |

hi, i only have stock losi wheels, if i use the knucle weights, i understand that it only adds 2.3oz to the wheels, does it make a big difference? or do i need to add a little more inside the wheel itself? thanks BTW. . .. . . i like it. . . richard |

Personally I would add more weight to the wheel/tire or better yet if you can add some lead weights onto this knuckle weight. I still have lots of testing to do but, I took 7oz out of my wheels/tires and have the 2.3oz from the knuckle weight and then added 3.5oz to the bottom of that weight with some automotive lead strips. It feels much more planted even though I am running less weight.

Thanks for all the orders guys!!! I guess everybody has been really wanting a weight system? Over half or what I made is already sold! Get them while you can. I will have some more made but I am not sure how long that will be. I will update this thread and the one in the vendors section with the stock status. |

I got mine in today (actually, they arrived last week , but I wasn't here) and got them bolted up. I can confirm that these will work with the Wheel Works 2110's (I am running the wides up front) and have about 3mm of clearance (measured using my ruler, not calipers) before they contact the bead ring. I have all three rings bolted to each knuckle and have about 8mm (again, measured with my ruler) before they will contact the spokes of the wheel. Excellent product and extremely fast shipping! Thanks Dlux! |

Sounds like you would be a good canidate for the .300 rings then? 5.3oz total if so (per side). Not too shabby.

I know these are designed for the Losi but, do you have any plans to produce some that will work with VP knuckles for Bergs or VP Chubs and Knuckles for the XR-10?

The plan is to work on the Berg/XR10 weights as early as next week. If that goes well it would be 2 or so weeks before you would see product. Thats the plan and you know how plans go. I have to take care of my existing business before I can move on to new things. Thanks for the interest and I will keep you updated. |
