Default NO SLOP king pin bushings. AX10, Berg, SCX10

I am happy to announce the No slop king pin bushings for Bergs, AX10, SCX10 or anything else using an Axial knuckle.

Again, I am proud to say that this is 100% made in the USA from start to finish.

These bushings are precisely made to remove all the slop that the stock bushings give.

Important notes:
The bushings are made to work with the stock stainless steel screws. If you use a different brand stainless screw, aluminum screw, steel screw etc,. you may find some will not even fit or be sloppy.

Your knuckles must be in GREAT shape. Any burrs or gouges can cause the bushings to not fit correctly.

I can only guarantee the tolerances of these bushings. If the tolerances are off on the knuckles or C's from other manufacturers these may not fit correctly.

Axial version:

Verified to fit:
VP brand zero ackerman knuckles
Axial brand high clearance knuckles
These can be used whether you use Axial brand C's or stock Berg (both measure the same). These should work for many of you guys running AX10, SCX10, Bergs etc,. Contact me if you're unsure if these work for you.

DLUX FAB | Products

Berg version:

Verified to fit:
VP brand Berg knuckles
Stock Berg knuckles (tight fit)

These can also be used whether you're using Axial C's or stock Berg C's (both measure the same).

$9

DLUX FAB | Products

International I am offering these with CHEAP shipping. It will only be $3. This will NOT give a tracking number OR insurance. If they dont show up that is how it goes. Sorry. If you do not like those odds contact me and we can get a quote for tracking numbers and insurance.

Nice work EDL. I got tired of the slop a while ago and made my own. Big difference. I hate making them though. Do yours work with VP Axial zero ackerman knuckles. The knuckles in your photo have a detent at the kingpin that is not on the AZA knuckles. I guess I'm asking how tall are they in thou.

First off, to give credit where it is due,... I did see in your build thread that you made some first. I also figured you would not mind since you offered them up. I hope you dont mind?

The picture shows a VP Berg knuckle. They are different as you noticed they have a relief in the top of the knuckle. The also measure differently in a couple other dimensions.

These do work with the VP Axial zero ack (what I am running). You just need the Axial version above. I could give you all the dimensions if you need through PM. I would rather keep it off the public forum though.

Hey Erik,

Thanks for the props. I'm glad you are making them. VP has enough cash already. I figured the AZA knuckles were different. I appreciate the offer on the sizes but with my non-stock screws as well, I'll make another set if I need them. I'll definitely hit you up for some if I switch knuckles. Looking forward to watching your build. Hope to catch you at a comp soon.

I really get off on shipping items as quickly as possible. It makes me happy because I know I LOVE getting my parts as quickly as possible.

Thanks for the order!

BTW, these are going faster than expected. I should have a bunch in stock for a bit but I can already tell I will need to order more soon.

Awesome! I was hoping many would get them today and see how they worked. They are going faster than expected and I would like to see if any changes need to be made before ordering a huge load of these. As you might already know, they have to be a VERY tight toleranced part to work as I am trying to get them to work. If there is any variance in the knuckles, C's, or screws to attach them, they may not work for a couple people.

Anyway, let me know how they work guys! I think you will be happy with them.

What knuckle is pictured above? I am asking because my version 1's don't clear the top of the knuckle. I am running VP Axial High Steer knuckles. The ones you sent me are shorter and they cause the knuckle and screw to bind.

The above knuckle is a Berg knuckle. Is your knuckle a NON zero ackerman knuckle?

No they are the VP Axial High Steer ones.

Edit: I see that you changed your product description to reflect new findings. It sucks that these wont work with MY vp Axial High Steers.

Thanks for asking. I was just checking them out.

Edit: I take that back. Looks like yours are quite a bit narrower between the C's to fit with these.

Also, I just found out that the Axial brand high steer version fits like a glove.

I am not sure that they will not fit with the VP high steer. They may fit.

Your knuckles are thicker than ANY other knuckle measured, by a lot! Your knuckles are measuring .008 thicker on just the ear. That is some wide tolerances if thats the way it came from the manufacturer. The other set that is having an issue measure correctly but it sounds like there is something blocking the bushing from going all the way in.

I edited the first post to reflect that I cannot guarantee other mfg's tolerances and that the knuckles need to be in great shape. I can only guarantee my part tolerances.

If anybody is having issues please let me know.
