The long front will always be Aluminum unless you need something different. The tube has to be so thin to make the 86Jeep style servo mount work that Delrin would be too weak.

On stock axles I have been taking them down to the same diameter as my tubes. Approx .5. So, yes, you can use my shock mounts if I turn down the axles. You would need to cut off the C" so that the shocks can slide on also so, you would need Axial C's and lock outs in the rear. Both are suggested anyhow.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Got em today! I like how you milled out the back of the battery tray. I thought it was a solid piece, and had planned on doing just that. Very cool products!

Same here! They are about half the weight of the bigron mount. Not a whole lot (not enough that I even care), just thought it was interesting.

That is interesting.

IMO, you need to deduct the weight of the original case cover from the mount also.

Agreed! Damn...even lighter. I did swap your hardware for aluminum stuff too....

I will get a weight of each this evening.

I just tossed this stuff on my scale.

Your mount weighs 9 grams (as packaged). Your plastic gear cover weighs 2 grams. That means your mount (without the gear cover) weighs 7 grams.

The bigron mount weighs 14 grams (as packaged).

Thanks Jeremy!

I never did get a weight for just the clear cover by itself. It does not register on my scale by itself and I was not smart enough at the time to put something else on with it and subtract the difference. 2g sounds good though.

If you were going from a stock cover to my battery mount it, you would only gain 5g. Not too bad.

Yeah, I had to put two of them on there to get it to read properly.

Got my battery mount in and installed yesterday. So much better(easier) than a between the motor and case battery mount. Perfect fit for the 850 4cells I use

Shock bodies actually take so long that I never advertised them because they would cost so much. About $50 for a set of four.

Which gear case shave? The motor mount or the whole case? Either way, all my machine services are listed in post #3 of this thread.
