What else will I need to get to make my bully conversion work? I've got pro comp dh II wheels with 710 hubs which hubs will need? Thanks.

Other than the wheels it should be a pretty straight forward setup compared to what you have now. I am not sure how the DH wheels will work. I am guessing that if you do get them to work you will need a really narrow hub since this conversion makes you over 1/2 wider than you are now. If you run a 710 hub now, a 335 hub might bring you in narrow enough? Ideally, you would want a face type wheel such as the ones I make. This will allow you to run a more narrow setup and also enable you to run knuckle weights. The DH wheel will really limit the amount of knuckle weights you can run. |

I added gear milling (for weight reduction) and milling the slot/ drilling the small gears for bigger pins to the services section. I think its post #3?

I added info to the install section for the tubes. The info is how to possibly fix stripped out servo mounting holes and also added info for using a super servo mount since it uses 5 holes instead of 3.

Are you doing milling for bully cases and gears? How about xr rc4wd gears? Can't wait to get my tubes and wheels |

Bully cases yes, but they are quite a bit more work. $60 PER case on those. Jury is still out on the Bully gears. I tried to do one set and they were way too hard. I am going to be doing a set of the 1pc gears as they are supposed to be softer? I would be willing to give the XR gears a shot, if they are too hard, then I wont be able to do them though. I got all your stuff shipped off yesterday. I hope you have them by Tuesday |

No, I think its good and on topic. I am getting a lot of questions about it. I just dont have a "Bully" parts thread. Maybe I should meld the two together? I cant believe I didnt weigh the machined cases before I shipped them out. If you want to ask DioptricStraw here is his thead DioptricStraws Super Juice . I know he just got the cases back so if you hit him up quickly, you might be able to get some good info. Apples to oranges but here are some pics of a cast case. |

Very cool!! I posted the weight question on his thread. So all the machining is internal on the bully cases no added external clearance or rounding correct?

Yeah, its all internal with the exception of cutting the top of the box if you want that done. I do internal as I believe there is more weight lost vs. external where youre working around bearing pockets etc,. Its a bit of a "sleeper" mod if you will.
