| Would be nice!!
Would be nice to get ahold of some. I know it has been done and actually someone on this site that does manufacturing and milling is gonna start making them. I cannot remember which guy. So obviously it can be done.

a 9 tooth should be possible, the motor shaft just wouldnt be able to go thru the entire pinion...might not be as strong (due to the moment put on the shaft), but possible. no? about those 10 tooth pinions, i would kill for one of those, or 11, whichever. are 11's easier to come by, if so where!!!!!? |

Honestly, the problem is that we all know that they are available in 32 pitch, this thread is about a 48 pitch 9T pinion that would fit on a 1/8" motor shaft. GRRRRR!!!!! And if you look close enough....you posted another picture of that 90 pitch red x again. We've already seen a picture of that

Who'd have thought that something that seems so simple to clarify would still be going? |

Have fun, spend $4, and motor on!!!!!

The HPI pinions are 48 pitch, but are made for smaller than 540 sized motors. The bore is around 2mm, they won't fit on standard 540 motors.
