Default We Can Get Them!

I just heard back from RRP!!!! check this out!!!!

Hi Mike ~

Yes, I do remember Doc Wildman, that was a while back!
We made them for him 100 pcs at a time, you would have to order that many for us to be able to make them again. Also, the size creates a problem with the grub screw, the wall of the pinion gear is thin, so if you overtighten the grub screw you can break the pinion. So, we cannot issie any warranty on that pinion.
I was able to find 44 pcs that we still had in stock, so if you would like to purchase them, let me know. They are $4.00 ea. + shipping.

I will be out of the office for a few days, I will answer your reply when I get back in.

Take care,
Cynthia/RRP
So what do you guys think? should I buy a vendors star? would you guys be interested in these??? obviously they are not cheap :(, so the price here would probably have to be about 8$ to make it worth it all...either way I am probably going to buy the last 44 they have.

It wouldnt be worth your time in my opinion. You will pay almost as much for a star as the profit you make. It would be nice to get somebody on the board to carry them though.

10t 48p (or .5 modules i think) 3.2mm or '1/8' shaft....

i use these on my lehner motor on my trex helicopter... also used on Ikarus ECO8 heli...

see this site:

http://www.hobby-lobby.com/ecoparts.htm

"IK67108 PINION 10T 3.2mm $ 4.90
IN STOCK"

not to rain on the 44 of them pararde from RRP... RRP may very well make a better quality one, i don't know?

the first one i used seemed to wear out more quickly on the heli. and began to wear the plastic main gear mesh a bit as well too, but i think the 1st 10t i had came with the Lehner motor from overseas...

just that they're not worth much more than $8 i don't think. $7.90 shipped ANYWHERE in the world.

never had any probs with the threads in the base, very solid i thought. use a dabble of locktite (not the impossible stuff, just medium hold).

You should have some 10's and 11's made along with these for the next batch I would definitely scoop some of those up.
