I think 12t is as small as you can get in 48p.

What type of set up do you have, maybe there is something else that can be done to reduce your ratio. What motor and tranny are you using?

I'm sorry JIA - I couldn't help but laugh when I saw your picture above Maybe if he'd drill it out a bit and get a BFH.......nope still wouldn't work. |

It's not impossible, you're just not going out of the box. A design like this might work... |

That red X looks like a 4 tooth. I'll upload the image. If you read the URL these are for a micro Street Force which uses motors with a 2mm shaft. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...56&FVPROFIL=++ Last edited by JasonInAugusta; 07-11-2006 at 01:09 PM. |

The lowest 48 pitch tooth pinion gear I know of is a 10 tooth, I am selling my last one to chino and the other one is in my Boyer bronco that is on the bay. These pinions were made by Radical Midwest Chassis Designs. JIA I am sure you remember them from the rcmt.net days . These pinions were actually made for him by RRP (Robinson Racing Pinions). MIke |

Its not really a big deal, but I have found it to bother me much more since I have been working at my LHS. Peeps constantly coming in and giving wrong companies and getting terms mixed up, even passing on terrible info to other customers. So now I make it in my best efforts to correct them, so they dont develop bad habbits, or pass along foul info (not that getting a name wrong is terribly wrong, ). Jason
