It uses the top shock hoop bolt, as well as the bottom shock hoop fwd bolt. Both of them are new hardware, so it gets 4 bolts, 2 per side. The lower one bolts through the lower hoop hole, frame, and back plate into the new mount.

Yes,
It's out of stock only because we don't have any more black Tcases. We have silver Tcases though, and we can send you one any time with a silver Tcase if you want. It's always good to ask any questions!

Got my kit last week for my Axial Rubicon build and it was a breeze to install, nice product Chris! Love this whole design and will be doing another for sure.

Meatwad can you do a front pic of your winch/steering setup?

Here we go...

If you'll notice there's considerable ghetto spacing for the winch servo, the bobbin must be tall for this setup. It was hanging down too far for my liking. After a shakedown run and winch dead lifting it doesn't seem to be an issue.

Not yet, been too much fun tossing it all together. In the middle of a drop bed currently. I must say you guys got spot on with the spacing of everything, with a 60t 32p spur there's about .200".

I ordered one of your GCM motor mount combo kits and your hard pan kit, it wasn't until after I ordered it. I realized that you need a additional link for the hard pan kit, and the same for the motor mount kit you need the a additional drive shaft, so what is the length of the link I need and what is the length of drive shaft I need for stock honcho chassis.

Great question, and thanks for the order.
For a SCX fitment on the Axial trans, the panhard rod used can be a traxxas #3941, for a bolt on direct fit, and the adjustability lets you fine tune it nicely.
The center shaft perfect size is actually the Tamiya CR-01 drive shaft which is 4.25" (108mm) sliding down to 3.79" (96.25mm) (for axial transmissions) and if you use the AX2 trans, the shaft is 1 inch shorter, so about 3.0 inch long with a bit of a slide up or down.

Can't help with the panhard sorry, making links per application keeps me lazy as far as remembering lengths. The gcm recommendation of the steering/camber links is a good one. Those Traxxas and sometimes hpi 1/8 camber links work well for alot of situations.

I used an mip for the 3rd driveshaft, but with the thundertech mip dig male shaft from tcscrawlers. Works well for me and no issues with durability

I got a Hand Brothers CMS and there hard pan kit, can I use the link from the Hand Brothers hard pan kit for the GCM or are they different links, and for the center driveshaft got a couple extra Axial Wild Bore/ wb8 drive shafts, ordered new couplers for the drive shaft. So I should be good too go until I buy some metal ones or the wb8 break.

You may be able to use the HandBros link there. It appears to be close, anyway. Maybe it will be a tad short, but some washers inserted in the ends may be the fix.

got another question for you, I see in the pictures of the motor mounted and they are using 20/87, is that the biggest spur gear you can run. I'm running 14/93 in my scx10 now cause there is room, but from the pics, it might not fit, but if that's the case I could be happy with 18/87. I have a 88 tooth spur and some other pinions. what would be a good gearing combo, with a Tekin 35 turn crawler motor. and thank you.

I've got everything from 14t 87 up to over 90 spurs and all over on gearing, so there's tons of room for just about any combination.
On your request for recommended gearing: That's so subjective. If you have a 40 amp battery, and large tires, you can't pull them, so lower gearing is needed. If you run 3s, and small tires, you can lift gearing if you want, it's totally subjective to your particular rig and power available. Some of my setups are 20/87 2s 35t, 14/87 3s 35t, etc, so the 35t motor is a great thing, and you can pick your gearing according to tire size, battery power, and desired wheel speed.

one more question, last one I swear, the output shafts of the transfer case are hardened steel with notches for the set screws for pinion gears and drive shafts. Correct ????. So how hard would it be to drill a hole for the set screw/ pin go all the way thru, so you can use the set screw/pin on the Axial Wild Bore drive shafts, cause I have had problems with the set screws coming loose on the shafts, so I changed the output shafts in the axles and tranny to the Axial thru hole hardened steel ones and never had another problem, or would a thru hole weaken the shafts. cause I don't like the double set screws, to secure the drive shafts, prefer the set screw/ pin type. both of my two wraiths and my scx10 are this way. just was curious if I could pay you to drill them for me, my order in been mailed to my house at the moment. so can mail them back have them drilled, pay you for the work, then have you send them back to me.
