Damn, where were you 2 weeks ago? Just order some RR idler and trans gears, also some Axial hardened steel outputs. Can I use the 87 spur with that? ( I think so). Also need that slipper. PM me price shipped to Canada.

just for the heckovit I compared weight of two different transmissions I have here..

one is an SCX-10 trans with VP housing with all aluminum HR gears, axial HD outputs and RR 87t plastic spur, everything else is standard like motor plate and hardware and it has an axial slipper. it weighed in at 4.6 oz.

next I have a fully loaded wraith trans, stock case, with all the above STEEL gears in it, my top shaft, top gear, idler, SS idler shaft, 3 piece diff with HD wraith outputs, steel spur and alum slipper.. the whole meal deal but with wraith outdrives(much bigger).... standard motor plate and SS hardware. it weighed in at 5.1 oz.


now thats not bad at all for an all STEEL geared WRAITH trans including the spur and a slipper unit

both are complete rtr trans. with all hardware, slipper hardware and all.

thats only a 1/2 oz more and its a bigger trans to begin with.
