Ok guys, thanks for the interest. First let me start off by saying front knuckle weight depends on many factors. 3 of which I feel are most important. 1. The terrain; the terrain you crawl on will often times require more or less weight for both traction and driving style. High traction rock IMO requires more weight as the rear will want to carry the front up and backward on climbs. Less traction, less weight as its not needed to help reduces these forces. Having extra weight to tune to these situations is often nice to have. 2. Rear bias vehicle weight. The heavier the rear of your vehicle in relation to the front the more weight you will want to use to carry your front downward. Typically most people like the car to rest with equal weight at the center of the front lower links (changes from driver to driver). What the means is, you should be able to have your rig balance on your finger in the center of your front links where they meet at the skid. Adding or reducing weight till you get this mark. Again, traction will change this sweet spot. 3. Driver habits. Some like the front end planted which means they like a lot of weight. Some like there rig to float and run just enough to keep the front end down. Tuning to your style while keeping the other two things above in mind are key. As you can see, it's hard to say an exact amount, I also understand we can't afford to just buy a bunch. I suggest checking out similar builds using our products, or hoping others can chime in with there setup. On my MOA rig I usually run two fulls on each knuckle. My state has medium traction surfaces. At both Utah and California I added another full and a half to compensate for the added traction. My berg is at 4.05lbs For my sporty, I run three fulls on each knuckle. I don't ever really change this truck and. It sits t about 5lbs. Hopefully this helps. Typed on iPad, sorry for misspells |

just curious as i dont see the option on your site for the inside half weights with the inset machining for clearance. im sure currently with 1 half ring that is only 1/8 thick it clears but if somebody wanted to stack 2 you would need the ring clearanced out like Tomi used to offer.

I can possibly do thicker weights depending on interest. The reasoning for the thinner weights is you can add just alittle more in certain circumstances. | |

What I think would be a good idea is make some like .225 thick and than keep the 1/8" thickness so people can run 1 .225" ring per side and than add the .125" rings so you can get the absolute max amount of weight for all of the VP hubs... Just an idea |

I have no problem ordering wider material if more voice there opinion. From feedback it seems most like the 1/8" weights and I need to cut more of what sells. So, if you all would like wider weights, lmk and we'll get to cutting.

The weights intended to be mounted behind the Wraith knuckle were available per request. These weights only fit the Wraith knuckle, not the XR10. William, you have the drawings of these weights in the CAD-file I sent you, should you want to produce them. |

We are working on two other versions of these. 1 to cater to the YTC steering arms (double mount) and one for xr10 knuckles.. Is there interest in offering the 1/4" wide option as well? |
