XR10 battery/electronics/whatever tray

Derived from my Berg battery mount, I am now making a mount for the XR10.

This tray can serve as a holder for your electronics, battery or whatever you may need.
  • Uber lightweight
  • Sits high and tight for max clearance
  • Mounts using existing screw holes
  • CF plate adds the bling
  • Tray can flip which gives so many different mounting options that I dont even care to do the math.

This should be the perfect tray to do any job.

Use a velcro strap, O-rings, bicycle inner tube or many other options to hold your items on.

You will find that this mount is really nice to mount a battery on. On my Berg, I run O rings around the battery and instead of having a rigid mount behind your axle, when the battery hits something, it simply moves up and out of the way giving more clearance whereas the rigid mount stays in place and you get hung up.

$25.

They can be found online in my store at dluxfab.com/products I will begin production Monday the 15th and will start shipping hopefully on the 16th.

Looks good! What are the outside dimensions of the delrin part. Just want to make sure everything will fit. Thanks Ty.

Approx 2.5 x 1.

Typically it wont matter what the size of the tray is as you can put a much larger object on it. You will most likely be constrained by the amount of room between your lower links.

The car in the above pictures runs a 850mah battery and it does not touch anything in any position, so it should leave a decent amount of room.

Thanks!

They were a custom job for a buddy who owns that car. They turned out pretty sick

Its not very clear from your picture, but does the CF bit replace the pinion cover?? Or just bolt over it?

It would be nice if the CF plate double as a pinion cover for Vp tranny. That would be cool.

What's the weight of the whole thing?

It does not replace the pinion cover.

I need to double check but I think everything was 5g?

I'd like some feedback as well . I'm needing a battery mount and having a hard time finding many options. My issue is, I have a Hot Racing trans case, so my Rowdy mounting tab won't work. If this mount replaced the pinion cover, it might work. Thanks.
