I wasn't going for weight savings with this design as the primary goal but they are. My main goal was for many other reasons already stated.
Thank you.

They are 2mm wider than stock but can be rounded just like we did the stock cases.!..... Actually more because of more material to work with.

No there isn't.... Just the 3mm bolts around the perimeter align the halves.

Is that extra width balanced on each side of the locker? In other words does each shaft have 1mm less engagement in the locker or does one shaft have 2mm less engagement?

Honestly I am not sure...... Lol You guys should have been on my design team.......

Actually the long tube side is 0.022" thicker than the short tube side..... But the locker bearing is recessed 0.0200 so if my memory serves me right it is offset to one side by 0.002.......

Oh I know.... Right? Lol

Also the pocket for the locker bearing removed the 0.020 side to side slop in the middle gear. I have thought this twenty different ways...... Lol I am exhausted but trying desperately to get five sets out to guys who are going to Nationals..... I have two being received tomorrow and three more to build.

Your doing great Barry. How hard would it be to recess the delrin so the plate fits in flush?

Well...... It is doable but may require a thicker perimeter to allow enough surface and every change requires rewriting the entire part in BobCad. I am getting pretty damn good at it but really want to wait until a few people have tested them and see if any or all changes can be done at the same time. I do know that we will keep tweaking them but they are already WAY BETTER than stock beer cans....... Lol

Close to a dozen of these have gone out..... I have added some instructions on the first page to help with assembly. Thanks again for the overwhelming support.

I'm glad to see these are selling for you! What covers the motor bolt holes on the carbon fiber side?

I just use a piece of black electrical tape trimmed to size......simple and effective.
