| Berg rear shafts--- lightest and strongest
I just realized that I never put these shafts in the vendors section.... Well, here they are. I am pretty stoked about these. Not too many times do you get to make a part and they turn out perfect. Usually you have to adjust here and there, take some compromise and deal with what you need to deal with. Not these. Introducing the DLUX rear axle shafts! • They are made from 7075 aluminum and are 8mm at the hex, 7mm all the way to the locker. • By FAR the lightest rear shafts available. These are OVER 1oz lighter than a steel 6mm shaft (for the pair). • 8mm at the hex and no external threads means that you will never, ever bend the shaft at the wheel again. • The shafts use a Bully style hex. The hex and pin are superior in design. The hex holds the pin in a double sheer design. This adds a serious amount of strength just by putting it in double sheer but then to add to it, the pin is 2.5mm vs stock Berg at 2mm. Much bigger. Never worry about breaking a pin or bending it. Tighten these down as much as you like also making a tire coming loose a thing of the past. • Adds approx 3/16 per side or 3/8 over all to the track width. This lets you run a narrower hub for even lighter wheel combo. • Uses the Dlux Delrin hubs for an even lighter setup. • Setting up the Dlux Berg rear axle to be the lightest MOA axle available! |

I was very cautious about producing these shafts since I was skeptical of the aluminum. I cant even guess how much time the prototype shafts have between myself and my testers. I drive on average maybe 5 hours a week. I know my other testers are doing as much or more than that. These have been in testing since late Febuary and have held up great! I know what some may be still thinking,... "Really, an aluminum shaft? No way!" I get it, I do. So, I know that there needs to be some faith put into these. I thought about it and wondered how I am going to get you guys to put some trust into these shafts? Then, I thought, why should I expect them to put some faith into them if I don’t do it first? I am going to do a “No questions asked warranty” for 2 yrs. The only exception is if you modify them. An exception to modifying is if you modify say, the hex area and then the part at the locker breaks, I will still cover them. If you modify them at the locker end and the locker end breaks, than that’s that, sorry. I will be straight up with you guys and take care of you. Just use common sense. For warranty, you would be responsible for shipping to me and I will send you a brand new shaft. How could you offer such a warranty if you do not believe in the product!? I am not here to lose money on these so you know they have to be good! |
