If you need to have your servo horn clear over to that side, I would suggest simply measuring the distance from the middle of your servo gear to the edge of the screw head.

Steering will be a dynamic of all moving parts. Servo horn length, steering arm length, drag link length and where your servo horn is positioned at center will all play a big part on fitting everything with maximum throw.

Kinda vague, sorry but all cars are different so in short, all servo horns will work but only you know which one will be optimum for your setup.

If you have more questions, let me know.

What I found was with this mount, the drag link length is super super critical. Even 1mm will change your throw from side to side. It took me quite a while to get it where everything cleared, and I still had the throw I wanted.

The way I set mine is make a drag link roughly the right length and connect it to horn and knuckle, for the horn on so that horn just clears truss at full lock of the knuckle. Adjust end points, trim and drag link length till happy.
Important bit is to have full lock clear the truss by a hair at full lock in that direction

Anyone try these on the VP OCP housings? Looking at these for a bit more true to scale look and love the servo placement with the DLUX truss.

Yep. They work great. Have the carbon on the wraith and the g10 on the YetiX

Hey Erik, I was looking on your site for a CF U4 rear truss for the AR60 axle, are they still available or are they only aluminum now?
Thank you.

They still available. When your on his site and at truss. You can choose what material you want your truss out of.

There's not an option for rear U4 CF, unless I'm really stoopid.
Looks like only the sportys are CF

Yeah, the U4 style is only in aluminum now. If want carbon, I can still do it but it takes me a week or so to fill the 1 off stuff. Also, take note that some people had issues with the thinner carbon and thats why I went to the thicker aluminum so you would assume the risk there also.

Let me know if you need to change the order up.

Erik

I'm not seeing these on your site. Can they be made out of G10? My CF set has suffered some major abuse and I need a replacement.

Yeah, if youre willing to wait about a week I can cut some from G10. Just let me know.

FYI, the regular ones are here:

I'm building a bomber with front and rear aluminium u4 truss'. I am using wraith length rear lower trailing arms and have figured out that yeti length rear uppers fit for proper pinion angle. My question is, what length front uppers should I use, would the yeti rear uppers work for the front as well? Maybe I'll have to disassemble the rear upper links and try them on the front as upper links? What do you guys think?

Sorry for the late reply. I am still working on getting home from the championship in Europe.

What lowers are you running on the front? If they are stock length, they just need either a Jato rod end on the stock length uppers or about .400 longer eye to eye.

FYI, I have the correct lenghts for uppers on my website if youre using stock length lowers.

Thanks for the response. I had to use yeti rear uppers with angled ends to clear up and over the tall case on the pro modeler 420 V4. No matter how I configured it the uppers would hit the top of the tall top servo case. I would either need custom bent uppers or one more set of upper link holes on the truss. I had to use bent axial rod ends, hope they hold up. Pinion angle is OK now with a little shimming and a little tweaking every thing just touches at full compression and full articulation on the shock bump stops. Will have to reclock c hubs with beef tubes. I'm happy with the product for now.
