| Re: **AX10/SCX10 Housing Splined Burly Tubes** The rear setup is super simple, Wraith lock outs with (2) long side XR10 rear shafts. The issue is Axial discontinued the XR10 rear shafts and nobody on the entire planet seems to have any. There is a vendor on here that makes titanium shafts and you can get just (2) long shafts from him, they are $75 Some guys will just run wheel wideners on the rear, but I'm not. I don't see the point to beef up the front with burly tubes, enhance the steering with XR parts, then run crappy wideners on the rear. Guess it would be ok with V hubs, but I don't run those. It all depends on how the Wraith shafts are machined, they might be too thin at the cut off area, I really have no idea. I don't have a Wraith anymore or any Wraith axles to look at. That sure would be a nice option though. |

Not sure what you mean..... Other than the lip for riding against the bearing the shafts are the same OD all the way down.

BTW, I purchased two sets of the splined Burly tubes, they are pretty awesome. (Thanks RC Bros) I'm probably gonna end up doing the XR10 mod (stock width) on my G6 too. | |

So with running the stock width tubes can you run a stock scx10 cvd / universal ? Or must you still use the xr10 universals

If you are going to run wraith/xr10 chubs/knuckles then you gotta run xr10/wraith universals. The spacing is different.

So when doing this mod do you need more than one set of xr10 universals ? For stock width or with wide length |

Ordered mine Tuesday night and they got here Saturday. You guys were only 1 day behind RPP so that really good! I started installing them last night. What a great fit into the housing, great fit with the plastic and Vanquish Chubs, and beautiful machining. I am really impressed with the Burly tubes and can't wait to finish the install tonight. |

Hi rc bros, got ya tubes to do the narrowed version, doing it now, got wraith hubs and knuckles, my question is this. When I slide the vp chub on, what holds that in place? I can see the splined tube through the holes that are in the chub that are usually used to hold chub in place. Am I ment to drill and tap on those splines
