That's the only pita. Because most of the guys after this stuff are in USA and were in oz it takes up to two weeks for the gearbox to get there. But it takes up to two weeks for the materials to get here. Plus the time making them. That's like over a month just to get the stuff. And most of that time is just waiting for the shipping.

Well a few have pre-paid to make sure they are on the next batch, if you wish to do so that's fine, just make sure you note the details in paypal | |

Bit of an update guys. I was planning to have them all in the mail by tomorrow (Mon here) but a broken end mill (last one this size I had) has prevented me getting them all in the mail, I'll have a new one tomorrow to finish off the shafts Also I had miss-ordered to correct number of bearings and only have enough for the first 20 BUT I have 300 bearings on there way express so it wont be long for the final ones to make the mail, some will make the mail tomorrow in order of first order received and the rest through the week as the Ti shafts are finished and bearings arrive. Sorry for the delay guys, You will be very happy with the quality of the final product though Also for those who ordered the skinny... The design was tweaked a little before cutting, As you'll see in the image it will give two mounting options 1.normal 2.on its side I was thinking that some guys might like to hollow out there skid and drop the GB down into the skid a little? Im keen to see how you guys work this one |

I like this idea. It would be cool to see someone take two of these and attatch them directly to a ax10 or ar60 (since parts are plentiful and reliable) to make them moa. The motor direction is different than traditional but it doesn't mean it cant work. I'm almost surprised Axial hasn't done this.

| Re: Standalone Axial based Gearbox Sorry for late reply.. had a bit on my plate with the misses writing off the car hitting a kangaroo at 100k You will need 6 3x8mm (or 3x6mm should be ok) screws to put it together Attaching to skid will change depending on app... but you'll be looking at 2 countersunk screws going up into the lower standoffs of the GB.. Then there is enough room to cap them with a nylock nut keeping them in place. |
