All orders (other than one or two international orders) are out the door, so you guys should see them arrive after the weekend.

Keep the info flowing and let's see some pics!
I've got a G6 JK to build, and it's getting the JCAD treatment, RULRs, Trusses, CMS, the works... Pics will follow once I get the thing built.

I would like to see you print out some semi scale heads for the wild Willys driver. Something different but cool.

How difficult would it be to layout a 3 link truss with the panhard mount on the opposite side?

As simple as a few clicks in solidworks to mirror the part.

Truss options coming very soon!

- Front passenger side panhard (existing option updated - can also be used as rear driver side panhard)
- Front driver side panhard (can also be used as rear passenger side panhard)
- Rear 4 Link truss (existing option - can also be used on front axle, but doesn't provide servo or panhard mounts)
- Front Servo 4-Link truss (Allows the stock servo plate to be mounted for those that want the servo on the axle still)
- Front SCXR10 panhard options (moves the panhard mount out to the end for those that run XR10 width axles)
- Flipped options (Allows the use of a flipped axle, for example in some IFS builds.)

- Double CMS (allows steering servo and many servo winches a place to mount)
- Chassis side panhard link mount (coming very soon and will be included with any front panhard option)

I'm always open to suggestions on what you guys would like to see. The nice thing with 3D printing is that I can print one-off pieces without worrying about tooling, set-up, etc, just comes down to the design time.
Also, since I helped GCM design the MetalHead axles, I can make any of the above for those axles, and eventually I would like to make options for the Twin Hammers rear axle, and some options for the wraith/AR60 axles.

Keep an eye open soon for a thread for testers on these and other products.

So my Truss showed up today and I couldn't be happier. Jens has a great design here and I highly suggest his product. My first thoughts about it being printed was, will it fit properly? Will it be strong enough? Once I started the install all of those questions where answered.....Top notch fit and once installed it feels rock solid. Don't be afraid to pick up some of this great product. I can't wait to get more myself. Heres a few picks of the Boys unpacking and getting to work installing it.

Alright, one more question. On the panhard, it's up to us for the chassis mount or do you have a mount in the works?

I'll be looking for a complete package with both trusses (front panhard amd rear) CMS (dual if possible), and a set of risers

Also curious about one off stuff (an arb bullbar) I can model one (also work in solidworks) but no 3d printer

Something like this:

It's being tested as we speak.

That would be great! I have the dual CMS coming very soon as well, and plan to make a kit with all the pieces together for those that want it.

That's the beauty of 3D printing; one-off stuff is much easier than with CNC machining, etc.

Send me a PM with what you had in mind, and if you have Solidworks files, that makes it much easier (and helps keep the cost lower). I will get you a quote and take it from there.

Thanks for the response!

Thanks for posting pics Shon, they look great with the Scale Bolts!

Here's a pic for you guys:

This shows the CMS and Panhard Chassis mount prototypes in the works... Coming very soon!

Front Servo 4-Link truss (Allows the stock servo plate to be mounted for those that want the servo on the axle still)

Any ETA on these?

Doing some test prints with some new stronger material... if all goes well, I will probably have them ready by mid next week.

Something like this is what I was thinking. Something simple, but effective as well.

Got my new material in, and printed a set of trusses and the panhard mount:

These are printed in Nylon 618. There are some pros and cons to the new material:

Pros:
Strong (Good layer to layer adhesion, tensile strength and impact strength)
Lightweight
Flexible (also a con, depends on application)
Low coefficient of friction
Dye-able to any color RIT fabric dye

Cons:
Takes more material to print (needs a "raft" support structure)
Takes more set-up time (needs a special print surface that needs to be replaced after each print)
Take more clean up and processing time (more time to trim excess material)
Only available in white (by dye-able as in the pros list.)
Flexible (depends on application)

The pros seem to outweigh the cons, but because of the extra processing time, I will have to start charging a couple bucks more. At this time, I am not offering pre-dyed parts, but that may change in the future. I have to get the process down before I want to start offering that option.

The material is being tested, and as long as those reports go well, I will update the thread with info on purchasing the improved trusses.

Thanks for all the support I've received on this site, I really do appreciate this community.

Jens

Forgot to add a pic of these trusses installed on my Karnage Resurrection Build:
