Now available is the NCD Custom Gear Box. The gear box was originally developed to be used in the NCD Sudu One FL 2.2s chassis. But it is also available in a general purpose version. The gearbox uses RC4WD R2 transmission gears. You have to source these gears separately. To complete the gearbox you will need product Z-G0047 and possibly Z-G0043 from RC4WD. Heavy Duty Gears & Parts for R2 Transmission Long Shaft (5mm) for R2 Transmission The NCD Gear Box package inlcudes everything else you need, except the gears, to build a functional transmission. With alloy hardware, drilled gears and short shaft weight can be as little as 43g. Narrow housing/General purpose unit: Width 50.5mm Height 45mm Depth 20.5mm Total lenght with standard size 540 motor installed 73.5mm INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Recommended pinion size is 15-18t with a 35t brushed motor. |

I had hope to have the gearbox out for sale already, but life had other plans. I am close to complete the project I am currently working on and after that I will finish up the last details on the gearbox and putting together some prototypes. I have atleast CF parts here at home for around 20 of these gearboxes :) |
