I bought your motor mount and am planning on running it with my dinky rc split skid, my question is does the motor have to be run in reverse rotation using this setup?

I've never run that set up, but my guess would be yes. Maybe I can get one of my customers that are running the split skid to speak up!

Ever considered doing a similar mount for the wraith chassis?

Just installed this setup on my power wagon, I must say it looks great in there. Just the factory motor for now but that'll change soon enough. Had to use one spacer out front instead of two due to my servo mount being further back, and by doing so, had the spur more rearward requiring me to invert the pinion, but it works. Great looking and operating system! While doing the trans work, decided to get an aluminum case as well as some hot racing hardened steel gears for the internals, and some stainless screws to go with. Thanks again from Canada!

I've had it in the back of my head for awhile, but I don't think there would be much demand for it. Im working on a vaterra ascender version next.

What trans case is that? Has an interesting shape. Your setup is looking great.

Case is a topcad setup for honcho/dingo. Was on eBay looking for a trans case with a through hole for the top shaft like the factory plastic in case I ever needed to turn the trans around for other applications. And thanks, I've been watching your deadbolt build and liking what I'm seeing on it.

Can you spin these mounts 180* . my Terra mod axles have the 3link and panhard on the driver side. And it looks like the 3 link would hit the motor. Also can you mount these to a flat plate chassis, or does it need to be C channel

They can be mounted any way you want with a little creativity. Flat rail chassis will make it easier to swap sides without filing on the mount. You'll need to mount a strut rod to the top to keep it from pivoting. I'd add a pic but im at my boys wrestling tournament. Look through the thread though, hotwheels000 and a few others have posted a strut rod picture.

Just installed my electronics tray, sorry it's so crude but it's my first go at that, I managed to secure most of the wiring onto the trans case with zip ties as I mounted the stock ESC to the right hand side of the tray, then got the bec and receiver mounted into the factory receiver box. Next tray will hopefully be better but this one does what is needed.

You need a cms kit or to be creative if you want to keep 4link. And a spare 5mm shaft. Super shafty sells a drop in for the dinky split skid that works. Or Harley shows in his video how to modify an extra upper shaft. I use the stock pinion shaft from the axle because everyone that's done hardened axle gears has em laying around.

Well I had to mod some stuff to make it work but so far I love it!

I had to custom fab a bracket for my Trans and lay it on its side. Then I welded a mip shaft to the correct length.

I'm running a gcm dual servo mount and it fits nicely in there.
