Default BWD offers "SAFE" Crawliing (Motor Sav'rs)

As all of us know, we mount and crawl on all types of rocks. Some of them we have done before, others we are not quite sure of. Even others that we haven't even met before. We don't know the history of them, where they have been and worst of all, who has been "ON" them before us.
Hoping that they have washed before we have taken them on, we proceed with hesitation. Is there some remains of someone else's "Rubber" from their tires, maybe some "Lube" that slipped out of a bearing...You just never know.

Now here comes BWD-MAN...

Introducing the next level of protect for your motors.

Made from Delrin for perfect fit...and comfort, you easily slide them on, from the shaft side, back.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the thickness, you may need a little longer screw...I only needed to go 2mm longer.

Here are some pics of mine...

Tomorrow I head to The Crawl Space where I am promised some "Strange".....................Rocks. Wish me luck, I don't want to come home with sores on my motor that will result in a visit to my LHS to get fixed.

BWD could probably answer that better but I believe a 550 is the same diameter as a 540 just longer. If that is the case, it should fit fine. If you can see they do hang over the edge a little.

BW,
Can you answer the question above regarding 550 motors?

I use these on 540 and 550 motors, brushed and brushless. Only issue I see is if the OD on his motor is somehow different from the standard 540/550 can OD.

I won a set at ECC and the quality is top notch. I wish I had a set before running though. My brush wire hung on a pointy rock and causedme a touch repair. With the motor savers installed that will never happen again!
