2008-2009 Nor-Cal Series Info

Due to the huge growth of the Nor-Cal crawling community we are going to be doing a few things different this series.

1. If a competitor wants to compete in the Nor-cal points series for a possible invite to the Nats they pay $20. Series members will receive the following benefits:

   • We will track your scores for the entire season.
   • Have a chance at a bid to the Nationals as a Nor-Cal representative
   • Have a chance to win the Nor-Cal series trophy
   • Can upload an avatar on Nor-Calrcrc's forum
   • Can upload pictures to your profile gallery on Nor-Calrcrc's forum

2. Right now we will not be charging to compete in each class, that might change in the future.
3. Everyone will be allowed to drop 1 event from the series.
4. 2 different people cannot run a single truck.
5. We will run a free run running order.
6. Only people that have paid the series entry fees will receive series points and be eligible for an invite to the Nationals. However when tallying the series scores you'll receive the points for the actual position you finish. First place will receive 250 points, second 245, third 240 and so on all the way to 50th place which will receive 5 points. The best score on each course will also get 1 bonus series point.
   
7. We will run 4 courses per event when possible (if we have enough judges and have enough terrain at the comp site).
8. If your rig is not within USRCCA specs, you will not run.

We will have a Series Finals Event for the top 10 competitors to compete in a 6 course all or nothing event that will give the top two the nationals bids.

- Series fee is $20 total, if you run one class or both.
-This money will be used at the end of the series for running norcal and with what is left either a group BBQ or trophy's
-If you don't pay for your series entry by the start of the third event (since event 1 has allready passed), you will not be able to enter the series.

Event times

-All events will begin with registration and course building at 8:00am and courses will start running at 9:00am.
-If you show up after the registration is complete, but before the courses have started and there is still room for you to enter, you can do so and you will be up first.
-If you show up after the courses have started running you will not be allowed to compete.
