I'm not from Fresno but I'm in that area quite a bit. I'll let you know next time I'm up that way.

I am still around in the Fresno area, but my RC budget was destroyed by car and computer issues as well as the IRS this year so I haven't been able to do more than look at the parts on the table. Who knows, maybe I'll tear up the wife's rig for parts for mine.

I haven't been looking lately, but I got the crawlers put back together last Friday for the Moonlight Maddness run, so I will be keeping an eye out again.

There was talk by the guy who runs Elite Toys that they were going to put a crawler course at their off road course they are building in Madera. Central Valley Racers said the same thing about their track. I haven't heard much on either. I may go by Elite tomorrow for some parts, I'll try to find out then. As for CVR I think they have a website, but I can't remember it off hand. Sorry.

The park at Minnewawa and Ashlan have a couple small rock piles. If you don't mind driving a little bit there is some good spots up 41 and 168 "just watch out for snakes"

LOL yeah that park across from Costco on Ashlan seems like the only public place to crawl near town. There was a nursery that had a huge rock pile out side of the fence in north Fresno on like nees that looked promising, but I haven't gotten back up there yet.

ya, i know where your talking about. Its a nursery and has a bunch of rocks off to the side. dont think you allowed to use them though and i bet they are pretty expensive to buy.

There is also a tractor place on 99 that has 2 really big rock piles that would be fantastic to crawl on, but its not a public place so I think it would be a no go. But you never know.

Wishon Res, way above Shaver Lake, it's my favorite for years now, even some spots along the way up there and some around Bald Mountain.
Not enough parking around Wishon for a comp though, but I promise you won't get bored!
Also a few cool spots in Lake Kaweha above Visalia in the winter when she's low.
