Talking Nor-Cal Bean scale Trail Run (LOTS OF PICS)

A couple of us went out to the Bean in Nor-Cal on Sunday. I took quite a few pics

Montereycrawler took a bunch of video footage, coming soon!!

Here is the link to the full album. If you open the individual pics you can get to the higher res versions. http://www.nor-calrcrc.com/gallery/v...umName=album37

(Mods, especially Griz & EeePee, I will add some tech to this post somehow )

Well I showed up early in the blazer and was looking for Dean (Chino63) in his Tan yota.

Didn't take too long to find him, Dean was already hitting the trails hard, I swear nothing stops this guy

Next we ran into this goofy guy. Couldn’t figure out what he was trying to achieve flying off this obstacle… Me and Dean went over to check it out.

What do ya know! Its Dave (rckjeep) in his trusty Ford F100.

We continued on and Dean was leading the pack.

Get off my ass Dave…

It wasn’t long before our fearless leader was stuck (really it didn’t take that long…)

Dave happily pulled the yota out. He is always looking for reasons why his big Ford is the best

Me and Dean finished off our Redbulls and made sure not to litter!

As I came around the next corner we ran into Mad4rnr (Erik). Almost didn’t recognize the rig with the new bumper, but how could you miss that yellow!

So now the four of us continued to follow Dean down the Bean

Found some cool places to mess around

Next I led the pack in the Blazer to find some new trails, but it wasn’t long before Dean passed me

Hey! Another guy on the trail, looked like a heavily equipped Rubicon with some big meats ahead. Its Montereycrawler (Lance) coming to join the fun. We think Dave is lost…

Dean continues to head down some pretty hairy lines!

After Dean recovered we continued to the other side of the hill to see what was next. Stopping to take some pics along the way of course.

I don’t know Dean, that next section looks a little rough…

Yeah told ya so!! I know I can do it though Of course Dean has to try it again, and the only one who could have made it is off in the distance laughing. Thanks Lance!

After a quick lunch break and some rock racing (video later on) We headed to the south side of the Bean to some uncharted trails. Found some REALLY nice trails, again stopped to take some pics.

Found some salt water to play in (bad idea btw) but Dave warned me about the drop-off, so I made a quick right.

Once I was stuck a new face showed up. It was halfcab (todd) coming to make fun of me

See what you get for making fun of others!
