| San Jose Crawlers
Hey guys, just letting you all know that the Hobbytown on Blossom Hill Rd. is catering to us crawlers a lot more. I've been talking with them recently on what to carry as far as parts and such. So in the future go by and check them out. Also please free to ask for a part, if they don't have it they can and will order it for you and they'll pay the shipping. They also communicate very well with their customers unlike some of the online guys. Feel free to tell them what you'd like them to carry. Brian the owner is happy to help us crawlers out. Here's a link to help you locate them if you've never been there. http://www.hobbytown.com/CASJ/ |

There's a Hobbytown off of Blossom Hill??? SWEET! That's not too far away from my place. Wow, SJ has some of the best hobby stores in town.

| Well I went to the Hobbytown at Sunnyvale couple times. There have very limited RC parts/options in stock. I guess the one in Blossom Hill is different. But at least "Hobbytown" doesn't ring my bell of "Best hobby Store" by any means.

| Plus the owner has always rubbed me the wrong way. Check into his past, busted many times for unethical business practice. Talk to anyone who used to work at Sheldons.

Stopped by Hobbytown today and they have a bunch of the new Losi Mini Crawlers in stock. Not to mention a ton of spare parts for them. The owner is also looking into building a portable course for comps. I'll be designing some of the courses, so be warned. Those of you that have driven any of my courses know what I'm talking about.

New to the rc arena, and just recently bought a CR-01 landcruiser from ebay. Bought several things from this hobbytown over the last two weeks. They've been nice to me. Definitely interested in the rock course rckjeep is going to make. Looking forward to getting schooled by you guys in the art of rc crawling Other than the two spots that hobbytown has posted for the local crawling spots (both off bernal), anyone know of any other places in the San Jose area? Thanks. Edit: looked at more threads. I never knew about the Danna Rock Park. Will check that out this Saturday. Also, where is the "mini hammer" Last edited by mtnhrdgr2; 09-04-2008 at 10:22 PM. |

| RC4WD makes it really hard for small hobby shops to sell their stuff, they require a $400 line order. This means if you want one set of wheels you need to buy $400 worth of them to get the line order.
