Default San Jose Scale Spot Lexington Reservoir

Just thought Id share the spot at lexington reservoir that ive been going to recently. Its a pretty sweet spot for muddin / trail runnin. and there are tons of rocks all over. They have drained the reservoir a ton and its opened up a huge area at the west end of the lake with tons of little creeks running through a valley. Great spot if you like mud. but theres tons of trails and rocks around too. I saw a couple kids out there on dirt bikes who said enjoy it while you can the water level is never gonna be this low again. the whole area is usually under water. I think im gonna head back out there on Sat if anyones up for it.

Great pics! Looks like a great spot. Might have to get a small group together and check out the new stuff.

.... Missing bumper in a few pics.

yeah Its been a long build and I finally got it made into a runner. Ive been bashing it as hard as I can to find the weak points the bumper being one of them.

shoot me a PM if any of you guys want to gtg out there. its a nice little spot. there are also a ton more rocks above water all around the lake at the moment if your looking for more of a crawl.

We are looking to crawl tomorrow (Sunday 29th) if anyone is interested. I'm up for going just about anywhere, as long as it's child friendly, meaning not dangerous for a child to walk around without falling.

Drop this into google maps Alma Bridge Rd @37.176374, -121.983890

thats just about where is is as best as I can estimate from google maps anyway.. you will see a driveway on the other side of the street with a big iron gate there is a dirt turn out on the lake side with a trail that leads down to the open area. Pretty much that whole end of the lake is dry at the moment with little streams running through it. there is tons of area to explore.

Hey guys, new to the forum and new to rc crawling, but not new to RC. Where is this spot off of Almeden Expwy? Could you google map it for me? A buddy of mine, also on this forum live within 15mins of Almaden, and would love a place to crawl other than Linda Vista Park in Cupertione hills. Thanks in advance!!

Hey whats going on man?? Are spot is off Almaden expressway all the way down like your going to calero resivoir. Right before the expressway deadends theres a lil bridge you go over, we are underneath that bridge. We would love to get some more people out there!!

How often are you and your buddies there? I work in San Mateo, so realistically, I can only go there on weekends. Thanks for the tip!

Explain this again please. My understanding of the area is: Almaden ends at Harry Rd. turn right, park and walk to the bike path under the bridge. Am I close?
