Crawler-friendly Hobby Shops In Sacramento Area

Visiting a buddy in Roseville this coming weekend and I can't find the name and phone number of the new hobby shop in Rocklin just off the 65 that sells Axial parts, anyone know?

Also is Mad Hobbies still open? Web site's down.

Any other Crawler-Friendly shops in that area besides R/C Country?

Thanks in Advance Guys.

Be cool if there was a section to list all Crawler-Friendly shops, not ones that only sell kits, but stock spare parts and aftermarket parts.

If you want to take a little drive from Roseville, we're in Rohnert Park (about an hour and a half drive). We stock Axial kits and parts, Mayhem Engineering, STRC, RC4WD, Stage 3 Racing, 3 Racing, VF, RCP, Integy, Traxxas, Jconcepts, Pro-Line, Team Losi, etc ..... "thumbsup"

Thanks Guys!

The Remote Control Hobbies is the one I was looking for, they had a lot of Axial parts on the shelf last time I was up there.

R/C Country in Sac is Crawler-Friendly

Capital City R/C in Sac is a great indoor racetrack, but not sure if they carry crawler stuff.

Fast Track Hobbies I've always scored HPI Jeep bodies there.

I'll have to make it over to JPH sometime it sounds!

I like to support the LHS's so I road trip and don't mail order really ever.

Hey Hoss,

I met you at my first norcal comp at Folsom back in 06'. You should give a heads up next time you'll be in the area, we can get some crawlers together and hit the lake for a few hours. "thumbsup"

take care,

Rockhugger, Nor-Cal's '06 Folsom comp was my second, and my worst!
The 2.2 class was booming and I was still running my unlimited class crawler, I think the course was better for the 2.2's.
Anyway, I've built ans Axial crawler and an Axial based leaf sprung Land Cruiser scaler. It isn't quite finished yet and the other 2.2 I'm need all the time I can get behind the transmitter. Sorry no pics.
Next time I'm up there I'll toss in my crawler and give you a heads up, I'd love to check out Oak Point, I've only crawled at Beals Point.

This last weekend trip was great, I dropped some money at both Radio Controlled Hobbies in Roseville and R/C Country in Sac, both very crawler-friendly!
I wanted to hit RCP in Sparks? but I didn't have the address and didn't make too much effort since I was on a mini road trip on the 4th, figured they'd be closed, especially since Summit Racing was closed, but on my way out a local 4x4 shop left thier RTI ramp outside! So I snapped a few cell phone pics of my "Rail" (beater) Jeep TJ, tto bad I wasn't cruis'n the "Rig".

To sum this up for everyone, please support your local hobby shops, especailly crawler-friendly ones, Radio Controlled Hobbies in Roseville carries Axial parts and crawler tires, a new shop that needs support, R/C Country has it all, CR-01, Hilux, Axail, even some RC4WD parts! I scored some RCP steering arms there.

Didn't stop at Capital City R/C (indoor offroad) and Fast Track Hobbies (huge slot car tracks), thier great shops, but not too sure how crawler-friendly.

Gotta love R/C Country Hobbies, they have a lot of mods too for the AX-10. The one off of Hwy 65, Remote Control Hobbies does have a complete selection of axial stock parts, if you are looking only in the Roseville area, although prices do seem to be a bit higher on certain parts, retail...
