Nor-Cal vs. ORRCRC 2

Well since nobody showed up for the last get together, I thought that maybe we could try again some time. But this time we would have a place worth while going to.
I call this spot "Cliff Side". It would be perfect for a get together because 1) We can camp right wear the course is for up to 14 days. 2) There is a lake about 40 ft. away for some swimming and some nice little cliffs. 3) We DON'T have to make reservatins to use this area. The area is wide open and flat for camping. And it is easy to get to.
Here are a few pics.

-We need to figue out a date for the get together. :)

Well what do you guys think? :)

BTW: I will get a pic of the camping area in a couple days.

Oh ya, during the day whenn it's hot and don't want to crawl, there is the Bass Hole bar and grill right down the road. There is also a Subway/Shell Station, Food Market and some other Various businesses around. Oh and the fishing can be great.

that does look like a nice place to crawl and have fun but i dont think anyones gunna stay there for 14 days

No one is going to stay there for 14 days. That is just the maxximum amout you can stay. ;-)

When, Where, What time??

If it's in about 2 weeks, I might be able to go, only if I can get a ride(if you Northern Oregon guys are up to it.

Is this gonna be a set course, or is it for both 2.2 and unlimited?

The main problem I see is that the ORCRC guys are from the Portland area. Which is basically on the border of WA and OR. They would have to drive 6 1/2 hours to just get there. But I live 2 hours south of portland which would make the trip 4 1/2 hours for me. It just would have to be a pretty big event for me to drive that far to crawl. I typically drive to Portland once a month to go crawl'n with the ORCRC crowd even though they are 2 hours north of me.....

Well, I think some of the Nor-Cal guys will have to travel equaly as far? This is probably pritty close to middle. But I think this spot is well worth a nights stay even if your not crawling.

You guys should come to my house to hold the event :-P
I made it better.

Right

I'd be looking at nearly 7 hour drive to get to this location. About 4 hours from San Jose..... doesn't look equal to me

Perhaps something a bit closer to the Oregon boarder but hell.... I can't go anywhere untill next spring :flipoff: Although I might be able to get down as far as Ashland/Medford on most any weekends, given that the wife okay's it first

If you're in the neighborhood, lets get together and crawl at a location I found in Gold Hill, maybe that would be the ideal place for a comp?!

Maybe Rick can swing down and check it out and see if it's worthy for you Majisty. lol

JON!!! You probably know where I'm talking about, even if you've never been there...

It's across the river from Rock Point, you know, under the bridge right after "Brotherton Pipeline"

OH!! By the way, its under a bridge (this means a lot of shade) ;)
