Can we make a decision on the location by either tonight or early tomorrow so the guys coming will have an idea for planning purposes?
I'd love to but I haven't heard from him. KEVIN CALL ME!

I'd think his spot might be better but I haven't seen it yet. I think I know where it is but not sure. My spot would be good but it may also be a hike.

Sweet, thanks for building the bumper for me wheels. How much do I owe you for it? And please let me know how I should mount it that way I can bring some tools and parts down so I can mount it when I get there.

Here's a pic of my front end. I hope it will work with my config.

Ya we should start early. There isn't a lot of shade. Hows 9:30 for everyone?

"WARNING THIS LOCATION WILL REQUIRE LOTS OF WALKING ON LOOSE ROCKS AND UP HILL" alright everyones for warned. This trail is narrow with lots of switchbacks Bring your tools and stuff in a back pack. ALSO WATCH OUT FOR MOUNTIAN BIKERS. We have to share you know.

(Here are the new directions 09-23-04 08:55pm)

Every one meet at NOB HILL on the corner of santateresa and bernal, The address is 7076 santateresa San Jose Ca 95139. Meet there at 9:00 am be on time! We will leave at 9:25 for the park ,carpooling so we can miss the 4$ parking fee! If coming 101 or 85 head south and exit the bernal exit (turn right at light) go thru 4 to 5 signal lights (heading to the foothills) 4 lights from 85 exit ,5 from 101 this will take you to santatersa nob hill is on the left. See ya all on sat mornin! [/b[

The lake is Alamaden Lake but the road closet to the spot that I can remember is Fortini road. That's where I'll start the signage. Though I did talk to a mountian biker friend who suggested another spot in the same park. Only problem is we'd have to pay $4 for day use. I'm gonna try and check it out today or tomorrow. This new spot would have bathrooms and a water fountain, picnic tables and so on.

(HERE ARE THE NEW INSTRUCTIONS 09-23-04 08:55pm)

Every one meet at NOB HILL on the corner of santateresa and bernal, The address is 7076 santateresa San Jose Ca 95139. Meet there at 9:00 am be on time! We will leave at 9:25 for the park ,carpooling so we can split the 4$ parking fee! If coming 101 or 85 head south and exit the bernal exit (turn right at light) go thru 4 to 5 signal lights (heading west to the foothills) 4 lights from 85 exit ,5 from 101 this will take you to santatersa nob hill is on the left. Look for a Taco Bell & Carls Jr. See ya all on sat mornin!

If you miss the bus, stay on Bernal thru the neighborhood past the golf course up the hill into the park on the left continue around to the covered picnic tables. The reason for the early start is it's gonna be warm, and the park can get crowded on weekends. The rangers do come around so make sure you pay.

I can start anytime, but the problem I see with saying that we are going to start at 10:00 - 10:30 it would most likely me 11:00 - 11:30 since most people are always late.

I think we should make a time and start at that time. And the people who show up late can catch up to us.

Here is my cell # again 650-222-8516 in case we have some straglers that cannot find us on the trail... It should not be that hard though, just looks for the geeks... I mean cool guys with all the rc shit.

My truck is not done yet, It has a bit of work to do. I have worked a little every day to get this project ready for the trail ride.

It would be best to have a window for ariving at Knob Hill like 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Tomas and I will be traveling one Hour and 10 minutes by Map Quest time but it is saturday morning and you never know the trafic. I hope to make it on time but if not I can continue to the site on my own. Hope to see ya all there

Man!, that was a great run. Thanks for coming out guys. Glad you all could make it. Looks like I need to work on my truck a bit more.

We should a comp there this winter when it's not so hot. Even in the rain would be sweet. It would sure add some difficulty.

What a GREAT time. The location was alot of fun and again we had an awsome turnout, 9 trucks!

We have pictures! There are TOO MANY pictures to post here so I am just going to post a link to my gallery.

http://rc.badgerracing.com/modules.p...view_album.php

Sorry guys that either don't have pictures or have little pics of your trucks I need to move around more instead of staying where my truck is. We were pretty spread out at times.

Enjoy.

Ohh yeah... I have been watching the video tonight... good shit.
