| Lake County Rock Crawlers
I'm starting this thread to see if there's anybody in LC who wants to meet up and crawl? If your out there post up and lets try to get something happpening. The LCRC has a comp coming up on Aug.1st. if you can make it sign up at Lakeport Hobbies.com or you can do it here, and I'll save you a spot. Were only going to do about 20 people for the first event and then we'll open it up to whoever shows when we figure out what we're doin. The details Aug.1st. 9am. Highland Springs Comp,20 drivers,BBQ,and a prize purse. There will be three natural courses set up for the event, and a $5 donation is suggested to create the purse for the top three drivers. You don't have to donate to comp, but you do if you want a chance at winning! Directions Take hwy29 to Highland Springs Rd.(just South of Lake Port),turn South/West on Highland Springs Rd. and continue down it untill you come to a fork in the road with a dirt parking lot, you'll see the canopies and everyone staging there! Drivers 1.Jesse Runyun 2.Lucian Vandenberg 3.Conner Burgess 4.Nick Dale 5.Cody Penry 6.Corey(RPP) 7.David Noland 8.Kyle Magoon 9.Don Prather 10.Brian Robertson 11.Kelley Wiser Sign up so we can fill all 20 positions, and make this a full first event. |

| I agree
Pictures would help fuel the fire. They would think " Wow look at that terrain I've got to crawl on that ". I'm going to try talking some of my MendoCrawler friends into coming to the comp at our get together tonight. |

Since you don't have a star yet you will need to host them with something like photobucket and then link to here. Posting Pics For Dummies You should just get a star though |

Thanks Jake, sorry about the late reply, been busy trying to get things together.Don't think I'll be able to get pics up till after the event, sorry guys.I'll get a star and post up comp pics! As for the comp,we've decided to strech the courses out a little,8-10 gates with bonus sections on some courses. There will be a couple of good(hard) hillclimbs. Also will be running 4 courses, figure with a smaller group we should be able to pull it off.I hope everyone makes it out! There's allways a couple that drop off, hopefully a couple bring friends. See you guys tommorow! |

| A great group of guys in Lake County
The score doesn't show it, but I had a great time. This was a " Great " spot to do some rock crawling. Let me tell everyone that didn't make it the pictures don't do this place justice, because this is the best rock crawling spot that I've have ever been to. I want to say thanks to the guys who put on the comp, because you guys did a great job for your first time throwing a event. Everyone was really respectful and didn't make any of us out of town guys feel unwelcome. At the end of the day I made new friends, and now I find myself looking forward to the next comp with you guys. Watch out for those damn Rattlesnakes! |
