Crane Creek CC01 Run 10-24-09
 

Here are some pics from the first CC01 run at Crane Creek. There were two trucks on this run and there was no "Hand of God" allowed. Two winch recoveries and one truck push were required.
All in all it was a blast!

I didn't know they have a disk golf course there.

CC01 fun
 

Crane Creek has an awesome Disk Golf course now and the CC01 definitely is a blast - especially with more than one of them. Running a CC01 with a bunch of SCX10's can be frustrating... They have a place though and that place is the trail. That is where the fun is. They can handle some tough terrain to especially working as a team.
We should have weekly CC01 runs - I know there are a number of them out there. Saturday morning ia one option but I am open to whatever works for others.

it is so much fun all we need is a couple more trucks and it would be a blast this trail is cc-01 type hope to see people out there next time we will keep you posted on time and dates

Sick! I'll get the HumVee running again. It's not a CC01 but it only has 1.5 inches of ground clearance!!

1.5 inches of ground clearance - show off... I am rockin one inch. That HumVee will love the trails at Crane Creek. And the Frisbee golfers will never know what hit em :)

Yeah but that is with a droop set up - 9inches with full articulation :mrgreen:

Crane Creek Holloween Trail run - that is tomorrow(Saturday) at 10am! Meet up in the parking lot. There is a parking fee but I have a parking pass so if you want to avoid the fee we could do a shuttle thing and just park down the road."thumbsup"

Nah - one ranger that patrols out here is in the NBRCC "thumbsup" Plus - these little rigs have far less impact than the dogs, bicycles, horses and frisbee golfers :mrgreen:

Yeah, that vid totally has me fired up to start bringing the cameras out crawling too! I have a small HP camera that is a few years old that will fit in the back of the CRV "perfect"!
