Default Rock crawling near el centro

Me and a buddy of mine are going to el centro to work for about 3 weeks in january and febuary. I was wondering if there was any rock crawling in that area. We are about to get into crawling and would like to bring our rigs with us because by that time there will be several feet of snow here.

Used to live about 1.5 hrs from there. Plenty of desert area to find rocks to crawler. Doesn't look like anything is organized based on the lack of response. If your crawlers aren't a pain to take with you. Take 'em and go find your own area. Ask people were some really rocky desert area is and go for it-no snow guaranteed.

Exactly. That's why I guaranteed our Canadian neighbors a no-snow day.

Hey luv2ridemx, if they head west on interstate 8 towards san diego is there a spot to get off the freeway and crawl some of those huge boulders? That might be the hot spot. How far from town is that? I assume you've traveled that direction before.

I know there is no snow there. We got into crawling as the snow started here so we stuck climbing pillows ans small logs in the basement until may, unless of course we get some time off while in el centro.
