Default NorCal crawl New years day????

Hey I've missed a bunch of events lately and need to get out and play. Anyone up for it? As far as Local I'm not sure I'm up for anywhere really. Stevens Creek, San Carlos, ST Park.

Post up if you're up for it.

I am up for it. No, I haven't fixed my rig since the last event, but I guess it is time to do it. I am not sure what is on the calendar at this point, but I am sure I can squeeze a day in of crawling. I wouldn't mind exploring some more around Stevens creek. We only hit one small spot there. Stevens Creek is fun, but wear a coat. It a was a little Nippley out last time. There is nothing worse than seeing Badger or Randy nipples.

As long as i dont break anything over the weekend, i will go. I wounder how much water is in the creek since its been raining. San carlos would be fun, but it would suck if we went there and were kicked out again.

I will have a look at Steven's creek tomorrow and let you guys know on the water flow. With all the rain, it might be a tad full. Anyone going to have winches? Maybe doing that scale run would be cool.

I can go but I don't have any rigs that are running. My fat *** broke the front axle on the Bruiser taking the tires off and when I was crawling with Daniel I smoked up my motors in my Clod and stripped the front servo gears again.

The only thing that would be close to running is my new Unimog TLT trail rig.

Well I've got the truggy running and I can winch but only without throttle or steering. I'm up for whatever. I guess time really depends on what everyone is doing new years eve. I can hopefully be somewhere by 10 but I'll be in monterey it looks like. So it'll be a drive to San Carlos. Not that I'm not up for it.

sounds like fun. i might have my latest mountaineer project running by then. i'm sure it will be raining but it doesn't matter to me, rain or shine. unfortunately my fenderwell equipped bruisercruiser's 4-channel crapped out (i dropped it) so i can't bring that one. keep us posted on location.

If you want, you can borrow the axle out of my Bruiser. Let me know.

I only got to keep 2 of them. Wheels broke my first front axle and now I broke the second one.

Thanks for the offer Sam, but I would like to drive my Unimog trail rig because I need to test out some different electronics for a project I am working on.

Keep in mind guys, we got KICKED OUT of the San Carlos location from the SCPD. I have not had time to go down to city hall to see if it is private property so NO I don't think we should have it at San Carlos.

I hope you girls realize the chance of rain is high on Sunday and I will be wearing a tight white hanes t-shirt so there will more then likely be a wet t-shirt contest immediately following the comp.

Oh god please no!! Don't you remeber what you caused at our last attempt at a post-competition wet t-shirt contest? I think your 4 inch long nipples just need to stay tucked away hidden under a thick rain coat. Please!!

Once you guys are done reminising over the image above, I just wanted to give you a rain update. It is pretty wet and flooded down here. Steven's Creek doesn't fair too well in heavy rain times like these, so most likely it will be out of the question. The last time we drove through there on a rainy day like today, they had mud slides and road closures. So maybe Dana Rock park is the answer?

Here are the directions to Danna Rock park.

Danna Rock DIRECTIONS

I went over to Fremont and check out Coyote Hills near the Dumbarton bridge. It looks like we could ealisy kill a day playing there. It is a State park so I am sure the stupid park rangers will kick us out eventualy. I took a bunch of pictures, click the link below to see them.

Coyote Hills park in Femont

I am going to Danna Rock park tomorrow around 10:00 am or maybe on Monday instead. If it is over grown with weeds then I am going to head up to Coyote Hills in Fremont.

If anyone wants to get ahold of me tomorrow morning PM me for my cell #.
