Too bad it's an hour out of town, but it's fun terrain, and you can dunk your feet in the river when you get to hot.

I was just thinking about that but figured the river ran all the way to the wall so no crawl room. Squaw rock pass that everytime I go to lake pillsbury, did you see the fires?

I was just up there yesterday, didn't see any fires, but i didn't see much of anything really. Lots of smoke, pretty crazy. Went back to that spot, there's plenty to crawl on the "road" side of the river, even did a little gold-panning just for kicks.

I dont know if this is very "crawler related" (I'm guessing not.) But I saw this on the road today and it was just too cool not to share.

I dont know if the aircraft gun was real or not, but the Panzerwagon sure looked like the real deal. Neat!

C'mon guys our thread is getting pushed to the bottom. What is everyone up to? Still trying to get my new chassis dialed in (in between work, wife and kids) but so far it seems to work o.k. Hope to get out and do some crawling soon.

Been tinkering on my new setup as well ... Gotta work on the shocks and body mounts, then it's ready for some test runs! Might get it done by the end of the week, got a half day tomorrow (birthday!), 4th of July (anything fun happening??) and a GP race to get ready for ...

And the wife and kids to keep happy too!!!

It has been quite around here. With the wife home now I have a very long to do list. I too will ask, any plans for the 4th? My great nephews were just here visiting from Chicago. I gave them there first RC (used Rustler) and I believe I have created two new addicts. They especally loved playing with the crawler. Next time I seen them I believe that there dad will have a lighter wallet and they will have more RC stuff....

Post up if you have a Slash, we need to get together for a slash-bash.

Went to "the Grove" in Petaluma the other day with Lance and rocked the berns and jumps, so much fun.

If we have a Sslash-Bash, can I drive Rudy's e-Revo????

I had hoped for a test and tune day, but July booked up super fast! With the Donor Comp, the Mantecca Comp, The Drags at Sears Point, etc ...

But, it looks like we'll be comping again at JPH in August! More info coming soon!!

Well,
my girlfriend, her daughter ,Lance and I took a drive to Salt point SP.
about 1hr.30 min. or so up hy 1
to do a little crawlin. (OK a lot of crawlin) 3 1/2 hr's worth
kind of a long drive for what was there.
there are good spots there but not all of it is crawlable.
lot of big round rocks and big holes inbetween them.
and then there were the crawlable ones which were great.
the ones that looked like moon rock were very high traction.
also had some that looked liked sand rock formations, that were very hard to crawl because of the very slipery surface
