Thanks for the welcome guys. I will check in with you guys after the holidays to see when the next gtg will be after the new year. I don't know anything about crawling, both scale or comp. Just very excited to be part of the hobby.

Sunday at China Grade just got canceled due to inclimate weather so you city slickers are off the hook again! For realz Rckjeep, I went to check out the Genentech thread and there was a pic of a big-rig drift truck (minus trailer). And some caption about "this is what I am driving until the sun comes back"....Lol!!!! But I agree whole heartedly about installing lights and just doing it! Greystone was fun but no one stayed real long.... As you saw from the pics, I ran into that deer... That thing was decimated by the critters! Dave, that pic of your Rig on the down slope is so bad-ass I had to post it! C H |

I'm down to run somewhere simple this coming week after the rain. In fact I know a spot that with some creative line choices and maybe some stacking we can crawl in the rain and stay dry. I'm down to share the spot this sunday if anyone is down. On a totally different note. My 4 wheel drive club is looking for donations or toys or cash(to buy toys) for Toys for Tots. If anyone can spare $10 or an unopened toy that would be killer. Please let me know if you can help out. |

GardenWelder and I took a quick run over at Vasona today. Just posting up some pics. Had a good time, rain and all. My rig was pretty beat up from Greystone a week from Sunday and did not realize i had a pin missing in my front CVD. A quick install of a new one and we were on our way.... Great place to go if you wanna blow a few hours in a cool spot! C H |

This run was a wham-bam-thankyou-ma'am spur of the moment kinda thing. Had some time in the morning on a weekday and got lucky to have company at Vasona...Finally! A texting pool would be the best way to get more people at these such events. It is an instant way to tell people when and where you are going at a moments notice. In a perfect world, it would be great to exchange numbers and then send a group text to all wheelers. I am game for that and have a few numbers already in the arsenal. Betwixt everyone, we might be able to go a full lap in the pool? C H |
