thanks nick. yeah, i'll likely go back to the super swampers. the flat irons worked fine but the swampers are definitely a softer durometer and they seem to have just a tad more sidewall grip than the flat irons.

Doing another China Grade run this Friday at 10 am! If anyone has the day off and would like to join us, that'd rule!

Here's the exact coordinates of the parking area for this spot... 37°11'53.10"N 122°11'50.10"W

Copy and paste them into google maps and you will see the dirt parking area on the side of the road. I take 9 from Saratoga, go straight on 236 toward Big basin and then take a right turn onto China grade. Zoom into that spot and you can see the trail from the parking area. That is the start and all that "white stuff" on the mountain is actually the rock!!!

btw i might bring my mini crawler just as a back up since im not sure my XR might hold, but its not scale, can i still run in on the course? if you guys catch up i could just move momentarly
